Topic: Examining Legal Dimensions, Standards, and Licenses

The eighth session of the Innovation Masterclass took place on December 15, 2023, with a focus on examining the legal dimensions, standards, and licenses in the realm of innovation. The session was conducted from 10 am to 4:30 pm and featured a presentation by Mr. Bijan Nasiri, an esteemed expert in the field of technology exchange.

Mr. Bijan Nasiri, an agent of the Scientific and Technology Vice-Chancellor and Nano Headquarters in the field of technology exchange, brought valuable insights and expertise to the session. Additionally, he has worked as an advertising consultant and held various managerial positions related to inventions and intellectual property.

The session covered a wide range of legal aspects related to innovation, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of the legal frameworks and standards that shape the innovation landscape. Key topics included patent registration, trademarks, industrial property, literary property, legal issues and considerations, patent search engines and references, industrial design registration, PCT registration, international registration of inventions, and the structure of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization).

Participants gained valuable insights into protecting their inventions and navigating the legal complexities associated with intellectual property rights and patents. Mr. Nasiri’s expertise and guidance enabled participants to develop a deeper understanding of the legal dimensions of innovation.

The session concluded with an interactive segment, hosted by Mr. Masoud Shafaghi, where participants had the opportunity to engage in a dynamic question-and-answer session with Mr. Bijan Nasiri. This segment allowed participants to delve deeper into specific areas of interest and receive expert guidance.
